P-Day #6

I'm getting so confused on which week it is! I started my emails to Nathan by counting P-days, so that's what I'm going to go with! ;)

P-Day # 6 (including MTC time) was Jan. 29, 2018. Here's Nathan's email and some pictures - heavy on the pics this week!

From Elder Donaldson: This week was crazy! So after PDay we had a zone conference on Tuesday which was awesome i got to see Elder Belnap and we got some good training. Then Wednesday we had a district meeting and then exchanges with the Zone Leaders Elders Schut and Berry but that got cut short because some other elders were fighting and they had to take care of that. Then Thursday we had a bunch of service which was awesome we helped at the senior center and at the food bank. Friday was our Mission Temple Day!!! So we drove like 2 hours to portland, i love the Portland Temple it's marble and gorgeous it's my home screen on my phone now! That was fun then Saturday i was on exchanges in Seaside which is probably the most beautiful place i have been with the beaches right next to the evergreens it was gorgeous!😍😍😍 and Sunday we had a regional stake conference so we got to hear about member missionary work from elder christofferson! Elder Hofmann has been kind of annoying me but we are getting along better after i kind of yelled at him and maybe chewed him out a bit but it's all love! Our investigator Carole has had a rough couple of weeks so we're rescheduling her baptism from this Saturday to sometime later in February. Pam and Molly are basically ready for baptism they're just thinking of a date! I love Warrenton and I love the people!

P-Day #8 - Hey All!

This week was crazy we went on exchanges twice! So on Wednesday i went with one of my Zone Leaders Elder Schut in Warrenton it was my first time leading the area which is weird but it was fine and Elder Schut and I had a good time meeting with our investigators and recent converts. Then i was with Elder Schut again! In Astoria though, in Astoria they have the ZL's but also the Spanish missionaries so the apartment is always a party! We had a good day with allot of service and even found a new investigator! For Astoria... We also had Stake Conference which was great President and Sister McAteer surprised us when they showed up and spoke! The topics were Missionary work and building Zion it was awesome! After the beginning of the week it actually got sunny there's no fog anymore! But since the cloud cover is gone it is colder in the morning but it's still in the 40's haha i love it here so much! Warrenton Oregon

Got this email from Elder Donaldson today. A man of few words! I dont have a computer so i can't make it where you can't see the other emails. SoTuesday  morning i left the mtc at 350 am and got on the bus to the airport. At the airport there was this awesome guy Nate from BYU that bought us breakfast then we got on the plane to Portland! It was like a 2 hour flight we arrived at the Portland airport at like 930 and got off the plane to meet the missionaries going home! They were so nice and helpful then we met President and Sister McAteer (macateer) they're so awesome. I spent the first day tracting with 6'7 Elder Lucuer (lusweer) on bikes it was fun then we had dinner and stayed at the mission home. In the morning was transfers where i met my dad Elder Hofmann I'm in Warrenton Oregon right on the coast. It's so beautiful here and i love it already  The program from church. Youngs Bay at sunset.
