Week 2!

Nathan's email this week:

This week was awesome! On Tuesday we had a meeting in Vancouver so Monday night we drove over because it takes two hours. We stayed at the AP's apartment and went to the Mission Office the next day. We got to watch the announcement of President Nelson and the Press Conference which was good then i got to see my buddies from the MTC which is always great everyone's doing awesome! We have a little bit of a competition to see who can come up with the most Bigfoot/Sasquatch apparel or accessories so if you want to help me out ;). Any way we had some good training Tuesday then we drove 2 hours back and had dinner at a members house. The members here are amazing they're so strong and loving with our investigators and so willing to help. Pam Barela who is are super elect investigator who studies seriously everything she just wants to know everything there is to know, we were gonna talk about the steps to baptism then she said "I already looked over the interview questions!" We hadn't even mentioned those yet! She's not on date for baptism because she wants to be baptized with her daughter Molly so we're playing catch up with her but it's hard because she's only here every other weekend because she lives in Portland with her dad most of the time. Our other super elect investigator Carole has had a rough week a death of a family friend and some other stuff so her baptism next saturday isn't a sure thing but i have faith in her. Saturday was crazy it was Elder Hofmann's 20th bday so in the morning we helped clean the church then we had our daily planning then we got Frite and Scoop which is hipster for fries and ice cream with Pam and Molly they're so great! After that and a couple other lessons we went to stop by one of the recent concerts Michelle. She's a bigger lady who's had some health concerns. Either way we had just started to give the lesson when she gripped her chest and started freaking out because of the pressure and pain in there. I was so freaked out! She asked us for a blessing but when it didn't get better after that she had me call 911 and the fire department and the ambulance showed up it was pretty crazy! Then yesterday was a nice restful day in comparison then we already went to the beach this morning more pics to come!

Zone Conference Pics!

Whoever manages the mission FB page is so great about taking and putting up pictures of the missionaries at their Zone Conferences, etc. I love scanning the pictures looking for my boy! And I love how I can't help but smile and get the warm fuzzies when I find him! Here are a few from the North Zone Conference at the Ridgefield Stake Center Feb 23, 2018 . P-Day #9 - Transfers!

I'm almost done with my first transfer! We got the transfer email of where people are going to be  on Saturday  but I'm not moving and neither is Elder Hofmann, I imagine we have one more transfer together then he's probably going to move also  tomorrow is my two month mark! Our District stayed the same except one of the Long beach sisters missions ended so she goes home  tomorrow ! And her companion is staying and training. We did get a new Zone Leader and one of the Spanish Missionaries left from Astoria we see the Zl's and the Spanish Elders more than our actual district because they're closer and our building is in Astoria and Seaside and Long beach both have their own buildings, we are going down to Seaside today to a couple of beaches and the Nike Outlet so pictures to come! We got some really weird new investigators this week I can't remember if i told you about Dennis but we went to Subway for lunch and an old man came up to us and said "Hey ...
